HOW IT WORKS:
1. Select and order your memorial piece(s). If you are ordering multiple pieces, only once collection kit is needed.
2. For orders placed for Hearthside Hospice patients cremated through our services, the cremains or hair collection will be processed for you and your order will be delivered or shipped directly to you.
3. Over the next several weeks we’ll keep in close contact with updates on your piece through the communication method you select (ideally e-mail or text so photos can be sent). Upon your approval of your final piece, it will be shipped to your desired address.
THE PRODUCT GUARANTEE
Trusting a stranger with the ashes of your loved one is a big deal, as a veterinarian I have a unique appreciation for this aspect, and take it very seriously. That is why these pieces come with a 100% guarantee. A small portion of the cremains provided in your starter kit will be securely stored for 5+ years, if there are ANY production issues with your piece, send it back and it will be fixed or replaced at no cost to you. The starter kit will go through your options on how you would like the ashes handled at the end of this time. An additional lifetime replacement guarantee that includes lost or stolen pieces is available as a separate order item in the shop. I do STRONGLY encourage you NOT to send all of your pets cremains in the starter kit. While I can assure the security of the cremains once they reach me, I cannot guarantee safety while in transit through the mail.
THE FINE PRINT
1) These pieces are made to order, as such there will be natural variation from what is pictured. To capture this variation, a photo of your piece may appear in the shop listings for future orders. These photos will not contain any of your information, but if you wish to opt out of this, just let me know!
2) Memorial jewelry will only be created using hair or professionally cremated remains, you will be prompted to provide information for the service or veterinary clinic used for the cremation.
3) Production time: Please allow 6-8 weeks for completion and delivery. If you require an expedited piece, please contact me for additional information and options.

Unfortunately, returns and refunds are not available for memorial pieces, but each piece does come with a lifetime replacement guarantee covering any product defects and an additional guarantee covering a lost or stolen piece is available for purchase in our inventory.
